We had to say goodbye to one of our best friends today. We miss her terribly. We will always have a place in our hearts for her…coming home just isn’t the same without her here.

Kona - Day 5, 6 & 7...done!

Day 5 - Hapuna Beach.

Day 6 - Mountain Thunder coffee farm tour and back to Kekaha Kai State Park.

Uh-oh, I’m on a roll. Day 3 we visited Volcanoes National Park, drove through Hilo, and stopped at Rainbow Falls. We ended the evening at the Fish Hopper with a big flaming rum drink!!

Clearly I shouldn’t be allowed to try and make blog posts at 10pm…

Correction to Day one: we played in the Keauhou Bay and then explored the Kailua-Kona area (where the shops and restaurants are).

Day 2 we tried our first fresh coconut at the Keauhou Saturday market and then spent the rest of the day at Kekaha Kai State Park….

We started the day Keauhou Bay and then ended up at the Kekaha Kai State Park.
