November

Gosh…my intention is to post more often than once a month! But these days seem a little busy. Hmmm the holidays?!? On that subject…Happy Thanksgiving to all. Unfortunately these pictures don’t include Thanksgiving…those pics are still on the camera. I’ll probably get around to posting those at Christmas..haha. Really, I will get on top of all of this!

Anyway, here are the remaining Halloween pictures, pics from our visit to our family in New Mexico (we even got to meet the newest member…sweet little Nathanial), Grandma Gene’s birthday and last but not least the Boise tree lighting ceremony.
Hugs and kisses to all…

The day before, the day before, the day before Halloween

We got a head start on Halloween yesterday visiting Ruby’s local GREATS! We started off at Granny & Gramp’s and had a special visit from their good friend Lynn. Then off to Nampa we went to visit Grandpa Ford and Grandma Melva.

Now, when I went to download pictures from the camera I was shocked to find I hadn’t downloaded Auntie Tiff’s birthday from September 10th! MAN time flies! So we have some Halloween pics, Auntie Tiff bday pics, Uncle John’s Eagle fire station open house pics, etc, etc, etc. Whew…caught up for the moment!!

Crawling!!!

Can’t believe I am finally writing this blog! Whew! This video is about attempt 3 by Ruby this morning. Just out of the blue she decided it was time to cover more ground! I wondered if this was a fluke but she has proved that it was not! She has been a crawling maniac all day.

We did have the wonderful ladies from the Idaho Infant Toddler Program visit today to observe Ruby since we were concerned she hasn’t been progressing as fast as she should with her large motor skills. They were very pleased to report that everything looks good and got a good chuckle out of the fact that Ruby decided to crawl moments before they arrived. Needless to say they will be back in a month to check on Ruby’s progress.

Once again we are grateful for answered prayers! Goodness knows how much I love this kid, can’t imagine how much He does!

Labor Day 2011

Well, Ruby survived her first visit to California wine country! She was quite the trooper and really did quite well given all the starts and stops, naps in the car, etc. We were grateful to have some extra hands available as well. Bob (Papa Pro), my mom (Grandma Gigi) and dad (Papa Bear) met us in Sonoma. Needless to say Ruby was well attended.

The weather was great (even a little hot) and the wine was even better. We enjoyed great food as well. I’ll have Kris write more details on both when he has the chance. Our special dinner out to Madrona Manor was very special and amazing!
